Structurally, it integrates an inner rubber layer (for leak prevention), an outer rubber layer (wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and UV-resistant), a steel wire mesh, and an air valve, all bonded via high-temperature vulcanization.
Its key advantages include high energy absorption, low pressure on ship surfaces, strong impact resistance, and stable performance even at extreme low temperatures (-50°C or below) or during 15° inclined berthing. Available in diameters from 500mm to 4500mm and lengths from 1000mm to 12000mm (with custom options), it can be configured with slings, heavy chains, or tire nets for enhanced durability.
Widely used in ship-to-ship (STS) transfers, wharves, and berthing/mooring of various vessels (e.g., oil tankers, LNG carriers). It fully complies with ISO 17357 series standards (e.g., ISO 17357-1:2014), ensuring high quality and reliability for marine operations.
