Ship launching airbag

 

Made from a blend of natural rubber and nylon cord fabric, and using compressed air as a filler, air compression deformation is utilized to enable shipboard launching, lifting, and maneuvering. Using airbags can save shipyards the cost of building docks and launch ramps. They are convenient, safe, and reusable, effectively handling launches in challenging terrain.

4-layer bags that are 1.5m dia x 18m long for example contain a rubber content that is not less than 60%. The air-bags can safely hold 175-tons with a safe working pressure of 0.09MPa while rolling.

Packaging - Transportation：

Fold and bundle.

For short-distance transportation, in its natural state, it should be (1) lifted vertically by a crane or other machine, (2) carried by hand, or (3) rolled in an inflated state.

For long-distance transportation, exhaust the air, properly prepare the airbags, and pack them into a large wooden pallet or container for transportation or storage. The sides or bottom of the large wooden pallet or container should be padded to protect the airbags.
