How to Use Ship Launching Airbags
Apr 21, 2023
1. Preparation: Choose the appropriate size and number of airbags for your vessel. Check the airbags' condition for any signs of wear, punctures, or tears. Clean the hull's bottom and make sure it is flat without any protrusions.
2. Positioning: Inflate and place the airbags under the vessel's hull along the launching ramp. Position the airbags evenly and secure them with straps to prevent them from rolling or sliding.
3. Inflation: Connect the hose to the airbags' air inlet and inflate them using a compressor or other suitable air source. Inflate the airbags to the recommended pressure, ensuring they remain stable and don't bulge or burst.
4. Launch: Once the airbags are inflated to the recommended pressure, carefully lower the vessel onto the airbags. Slowly deflate the airbags once the vessel is completely on the water, then carefully remove the airbags from underneath the vessel.
5. Inspection: After launching, inspect the airbags and vessel's hull for any damage. Deflate and store the airbags properly for future use.
Note: It is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully and take all necessary safety precautions before using ship launching airbags.
